Security at Vester

Trust starts with a clear explanation of what Vester can access and what you are choosing to share. Vester is in private beta, and we are continuing to improve the product and its safeguards.

Your financial connections

Vester uses financial data you choose to connect to help you understand your finances. Connections through Plaid provide read access for analysis. Vester does not use these connections to trade, withdraw, or move your money.

When connecting an institution, use the connection provider’s secure flow. Do not send bank passwords, one-time bank codes, or account recovery details to Vester in a chat, upload, email, or feedback report. Connection tokens and the financial data made available through a connection are different from your bank password.

Personal beta access

Beta invitations are issued to an individual email address. Before using an invitation, you verify access to that inbox. An invitation link and its access code share the same expiration and can be used for one acceptance. Forwarding either one does not transfer the invitation to a different email address.

Multifactor authentication is required for Vester access, including when you sign in with Google. Set up an authenticator app or passkey, and save your recovery codes somewhere safe. Keep your Vester password unique and protect your email account with multifactor authentication as well.

Information and access

Our websites use HTTPS to protect information in transit. Operating the service also involves processing information with infrastructure, financial connection, and AI service providers. See our Privacy Policy for the information we collect and how it is used.

Vester is not a confidential vault. Information you share may be accessed by authorized team members or service providers for operating the service, support, troubleshooting, or security. For this beta, use your own information or non-sensitive test examples. Do not upload client information, another person’s financial records, or information you are not authorized to share.

Questions, suspected incidents, and data requests

Email alex@vesterai.com with “Security” in the subject for security concerns, or “Privacy request” for access, correction, or deletion requests. Include a short description and a way to reach you. Please do not include passwords, access codes, full account numbers, or sensitive screenshots.

No service can guarantee absolute security. Review the beta disclosures before deciding what to connect or share.
